Denver International Airport
Denver International Airport (DEN) is spread across 33,531 acres making it the largest and most spread out airport in the U.S. There are three different concourses with 141 gates. Travelers can reach separate terminals using the Automated Guideway Transit System. The airport's large size is vital to supporting its 2015 title as the sixth busiest airport in the U.S. and eighteenth busiest in the world. Guests can travel non-stop to destinations in North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia.
DIA is also committed to sustainability efforts like solar energy. In 2008, the first array of solar panels was installed and three more have been installed since then. The four arrays produce enough energy to power over 2,500 typical Denver-area homes.
