The Frist Center for the Visual Arts
Opened in 2001, The Frist Center has become a hub for Nashville's rapidly expanding visual arts scene. Its regional and global exhibitions change every six to eight weeks to provide new and returning guests a fresh and exciting experience. The Frist Center also recognizes that art is about more than looking; it's about feeling, creation and engagement. The innovative Martin ArtQuest Gallery offers guests of all ages the opportunity to learn through activities with 30 interactive stations including sculpting and watercolor painting. The museum also offers a café and shop loaded with exhibition-related works and other gifts.
