Strolls on Amelia Island Beach

Soak up the sun on our 3.5 miles of private, uncrowded Amelia Island beach. Put your toes in the sand and enjoy a leisurely stroll down the beach as the sun rises over the Atlantic Ocean. Collect shells and shark teeth washed from the tides, splash in the waves, or simply relax in the shade of one of our beachside cabanas.

Private beach fires are available with advanced reservations. For reservations, please call the concierge at (904) 432-1467.

Beach rentals* are available throughout the spring and summer, including cabanas and chairs to boogie boards and beach games, please call (904) 753-6258 for advance reservations.

Deliveries are set up one hour after opening and are broken down one hour prior to closing. For guests of Omni Amelia Island Plantation as well as Amelia Island Club Members beach rentals will automatically be charged to your room. For guests not staying through the Omni, a credit card will be required to purchase beach equipment rentals. On June 24–July 5, villa deliveries will not be available.

May 20 through September 8:
8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

September 9 through October 31:
9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

CLOSED November 2016 through February 2017.

BEACH ORDINANCE

Effective May 30, 2016, the Nassau County Board of County Commissioners passed an ordinance regulating beach furniture to ensure safe nesting grounds for sea turtles. Beach furniture, tents, etc. must be removed from the beach between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Personal items left on the beach during these hours will be removed and disposed of by the county.

*Omni Amelia Island Plantation guests, Villas of Amelia Island Plantation guests and Amelia Island Club members are welcome to enjoy our pool facilities as well as rent beach equipment in front of the hotel.
