Q. Do I bring my own cake, flowers, and entertainment?
A. Yes! Our catering manager will provide you with a preferred vendor list to help you with the remainder of your planning.
Q. What are the additional charges?
A. All banquet charges are subject to a taxable service charge of 25 percent as well as a local tax of 7.25 percent and a 1 percent prepared food tax. The bartender fee is $100 (one bartender per 75 guests). If the food & beverage minimum is not met, a room rental charge will apply.
Q. Can we bring our own food or alcohol?
A. Outside food and beverages are not permitted. However, a bakery may provide your wedding cake, and all attempts will be made to assist with any specialty food and/or dietary concerns.
Q. What will be the parking charge for my guests?
A. Parking for overnight guests is $27/valet parking. However, parking for reception attendees not staying overnight will be charged standard parking rates, which can range from $10 – $24 depending upon the date and time of the event. Self-service, city-owned garages are also available in the surrounding area. Parking rates are subject to change.
Q. Do you have children’s or vendor meals available? What is the price?
A. Yes! The children’s meal includes chicken tenders, French fries and a fresh fruit cup and is $25 per child between the ages of 3 and 12. Children two and under eat free. Vendor meals include a boxed sandwich, chips and dessert for $25 per meal.

All food and beverage items served at your event must be provided, catered and served by Omni Charlotte Hotel, with exception of the wedding cake.
Events are typically five hours in length; however, all events must end by 1:00 a.m.
