Home to 2,000 works of postwar and contemporary art
The Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza is the closest hotel near The Broad museum. Located just across the street, it's a short walk and the perfect starting point to a sightseeing day in Los Angeles. Show your tickets for The Broad at one of our dining outlets, Grand Café or Noé Restaurant & Bar, and receive 15% off (food only, excludes holidays, special menus, and group reservations of 8 or more).
After opening in September 2015, The Broad has quickly become a popular visitor destination in downtown Los Angeles as an art, entertainment and culture hub. Founded by philanthropists Eli and Edye Broad, the museum is home to 2,000 works of art and showcases a prominent holding of postwar and contemporary pieces. The museum features several works by Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Jeff Koons, and Jasper Johns, among many others.
The honeycomb-like exterior of the museum is a striking, modern work of art itself that took over 7 years to craft. The Broad sits on Grand Avenue and neighbors Frank Gehry’s iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall, MOCA, the Los Angeles Music Center, Mark Taper Forum, Ahmanson Theater, and the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.
