Lindsey Kurtz, Director of Catering Sales
The first thing to know about me is that I LOVE what I do! Nothing excites me more than when I get to meet a bride and groom for the first time and unveil to them all the beauty and elegance our resort has to offer as the canvas for their wedding day. My favorite moment is when I see the bride look at her groom, and with just her eyes, she says “This is it! This is the place!” From that point on, it's a pleasure getting to know my bride and groom as well as their families as we begin planning the best day of their lives.
I was raised in Central Florida and graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Advertising and a minor in Hospitality Management. After graduation, I started my career planning large scale corporate events. I continued my career in restaurant sales where I could combine my creativity, my passion for hospitality and my love for good FOOD!
One of the highlights for me, is meeting my bride and groom, hearing about how they met and the proposal. Every couple has their own “story”. I enjoy seeing and feeling the love in the room not only between the couple but from the family and friends who are fortunate to experience the journey.
As for myself, I have been extremely fortunate to marry my best friend and love of my life. We have six furry children, and I look forward to what our journey holds in the future.
