Saguaro National Park

Saguaro National Park

Explore the great American west and get a chance to see the iconic giant saguaro cacti, the largest in the world. They are found in only small regions of the United States, and preserved by the park in Tucson. Hiking, backpacking, and camping are common throughout the park. Various guided programs are also available throughout the year.

There is much more to the park than just cacti. The Tucson Mountain District provides beautiful views and a vast diversity of plants and wildlife. In higher elevations, animals like the black bear, Mexican spotted owl, Arizona mountain king snake, and white-tailed deer can be seen.
