Luxury Hotel Brand's Summer "Camp Omni" Package Offers Nostalgic Perks

IRVING, TX (May 22, 2012) – This summer, Omni Hotels & Resorts is offering families an unforgettable experience combining the beloved experiences of summer camp with the style and sophistication for which Omni is known. The summer “Camp Omni” family package provides a variety of camp-themed amenities as well as 15 percent off a two-night stay, complimentary breakfast for kids 12 and under and an advance call from “Camp Counselors” (the concierge) to help customize all vacation activities. With Omni destinations across the country, families can choose to enjoy America’s historic treasures in Washington, DC at the Omni Shoreham Hotel to the Freedom Trail at the Omni Parker House, or take in the world-class museums and culture of New York at Omni Berkshire Place.

Upon check-in, younger guests will receive camp-themed treats as part of the Camp Omni experience, including s’mores-flavored marshmallows, a collapsible water bottle and lanyard kit in a knapsack. An adventure newsletter containing a scavenger hunt will lead kids to a merit badge, “dirt & worms” dessert and $10 Camp Omni gift cards for kids to use in the “commissary” (a.k.a. the gift shop or restaurant). The perks of Omni Sensational Kids, which include milk and cookies and other goodies, are also part of the experience.
