Holistic Culinary Adventure

Know your food, by knowing your chef and knowing their food partners. Each Saturday from June to September, you can delve into what truly reaches your plate at the Inn. Visit one of our many food partners or artisans such as; Ivy Creek Family Farm or Farm and Sparrow Mill at their locations, or meet several at the local farmer’s market with our Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef on Saturday morning. Our chefs will bring back ingredients that you have helped harvest, mill, or carefully select in order to prepare your party an exclusively, curated multi-course meal in Vue 1913 that evening. This experience is offered only once per weekend to a single couple or small group of up to 4 by calling 828.210.7813 for $200 per person, tax and gratuity included, not inclusive of beverages. Travel to and from the market is provided by the Inn.

Vue 1913 Destination Wine Dinner Series - France

Our first Destination Wine Dinner in the series will transport you to the French countryside, featuring classic wines from the Loire Valley, Alsace, Burgundy, the Rhone Valley, Bordeaux and Sauternes imported by Neal Rosenthal with presenter Joseph Frederick, and a precisely paired menu created by Vue 1913's Chef de Cuisine, Brandon Gibson and Sous Chef, Patrick Cullum.

Wild Food Tour with No Taste Like Home

Join No Taste Like Home, founded by famed forager and educator Alan Muskat, in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina as he teaches how to safely gather, serve, and preserve wild mushrooms, plants, and other extreme cuisine. Deliver your found ingredients to our Guest Services desk upon returning to the Inn and our Chef will create a personalized complimentary appetizer just for you.
