The Museum of Contemporary Art

The Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza is located adjacent to the Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles (MOCA). Simply exit out the doors of Grand Café and you will come upon one of the museum’s most popular sculptures: Airplane Parts. The museum showcases one of the most compelling collections of contemporary art in the world with over 7,000 art pieces. Established in 1979, they are the only artist-founded museum in Los Angeles and and are intimately tied to the city's cultural fabric and history.

Things to Know Before You Go

MOCA is located at 250 South Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90012, adjacent to the hotel.
Discounted tickets are available for students, seniors and jurors with I.D. It is free for children under 12 years old.
The museum is closed on Tuesdays.
Free Admission on Thursdays from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
