El Colegio Bar pays homage to the original St. Mary’s School of Law, which occupied the space beginning in 1934. Blending history with a modern sensibility, the bar draws inspiration from the Prohibition era while embracing today’s Texas-driven beverage culture. Located just off the hotel lobby, El Colegio features vintage-inspired design and an inviting atmosphere, complemented by handcrafted cocktails, premium spirits, Texas wines, local beers, and elevated bar fare rooted in regional flavors and classic favorites.
Beverage Offerings
A focus on Texas spirits, both bottled and draft local San Antonio Craft beer and Texas produced wine, El Colegio bar also offers the traditional and most requested beverages. Honoring the customary preparation of the early 1900’s cocktails the bar prepares its drinks in elegant glassware using proper ice cubes and served in an approachable friendly manner. Mixologists specialize in creating renditions of classic cocktails that will satisfy the most sophisticated palette.

Designed to complement the beverage program, the menu offers elevated, shareable dishes and Texas-inspired comfort fare.
