The Spa is available for guests 18 years of age and older. Please contact our Sports Complex (ext. 1046) for extensive children’s programming, or our Concierge desk (ext. 7005) for child care services. While you are relaxing at The Spa, your child can enjoy fun-filled programs for children ages 5-12. Activities include swimming, arts and crafts, ping pong, pool, racquet ball, tennis, video games and playground activities. Call (828) 252-2711, ext. 1046, to register.
We strongly recommend making your Spa appointments when you make your room reservation. Weekend appointments should be booked three (3) to four (4) months in advance. Beginning Friday at noon through Sunday at noon, appointments are reserved for resort guests only. Please inform your reservations representative if you are pregnant, nursing or under a physician’s care, or have mobility difficulties.
As a courtesy to other guests and our staff, cancellations and time changes must be received at least 24 hours prior to appointment to avoid full cost.
For your convenience, a 20 percent service charge is automatically added to your bill.
To protect the privacy of our guests, tours of the facility are not available. A viewing window is available for your convenience.
SPA ACCESS FEE
The Spa is open for those without a scheduled treatment through the purchase of a Spa Day Pass. When available, passes may be purchased upon entry to The Spa anytime after 9:00 a.m. Passes are only sold the day of entry and are available Monday - Thursday. All passes are limited and are not sold in advance.
WHAT TO BRING
You will need to bring your swimsuit and sunglasses for our pool areas and workout gear for The Spa fitness room. Robes, slippers and towels are provided for all guests. Please do not bring jewelry or other valuables to The Spa, as we cannot guarantee the security of these items. Cell phones and cameras are prohibited within The Spa.
Help us keep The Spa a sanctuary of tranquility and relaxation. Please respect the quiet and privacy of other Spa guests by refraining from using cameras and cell phones while at The Spa. We invite you to “unplug” during your visit to the Spa and also ask that you speak softly or simply enjoy the silence. The Spa is a non-smoking facility.
We recommend that you arrive a minimum of one hour prior to your first treatment. The exception is for 8:30am appointments, for which you should arrive at 8am Arriving late may result in a shortened service. Upon arrival to The Spa, you will be asked to complete a brief health form to assist Spa therapists in providing you the best experience possible and to ensure your safety and comfort. We encourage you to disclose any pertinent health conditions that may affect your Spa experience. Give yourself plenty of time before your treatments to indulge in our complimentary amenities, including our Spa fitness room.
THE SPA BOUTIQUE
Enhance your home spa experience with a variety of skin, bath and beauty elixirs available in our Spa Boutique. You can also explore a host of intriguing gift ideas, including candles, teas, clothing, blankets, robes, gift baskets and more. THE SPA CAFÉ
Located adjacent to The Spa’s main entrance, The Spa Café is open for breakfast and lunch daily. Guests may dine in The Spa Café in their robes, in either the outdoor waterfall dining area or the outdoor pool area. Menu offerings include refreshing fruit smoothies, fresh juices, artisan salads, specialty sandwiches and other delicious offerings to restore, revitalize and refresh.
OUTSIDE FOOD AND BEVERAGES
No outside food or beverages are allowed at The Spa. We offer poolside service during our operating hours or guests can visit The Spa Café.
Due to increased demand, we are unable to guarantee the availability of day passes or treatments on any specific day. We recommend making Spa treatment reservations as you make your room reservation to ensure the best selection and times.
Friday through Sunday, as well as holidays, spa treatments are exclusively available to overnight resort guests and are offered based on availability. Monday through Thursday, excluding holidays, day passes and treatments are available to both day guests, as well as overnight resort guests, and are also offered based on availability.
