Old South Meeting House

Visit one of the nation’s most important colonial National Historic Landmarks, just steps outside our doors here at Omni Parker House. Discover the very place where the Boston Tea Party was launched in 1773! The House features tea leaves and a tea crate label from the Boston Tea Party, a 100 year old 3-D model of colonial Boston, John Hancock’s portable writing desk, a statue of enslaved poet Phillis Wheatley and her first-edition 1773 book, and more.

• The museum is just a block away from Omni Parker House at 310 Washington Street, Boston MA 02108.
• The museum is open daily with varying seasonal hours.
• Admission is $6 for adults and $1 for children. Children under 5 are free!
• Free scavenger hunts and audio tour programs are available with admission. 
• We recommend walking, as the museum is a quick 3 minute walk from Omni Parker House’s doors.
