Montreal's not so hidden, hidden gem

Parc Jean-Drapeau is located on Saint Helene Island, about 15 minutes from Hotel Omni Mont-Royal and accessible by bridge. It played host to the 1967 World Fair and is now home to La Ronde, a Six Flags amusement park which annually hosts the Montreal International Fireworks Competition. The Omni Mont-Royal is pleased to be the exclusive Hotel Partner since 2014. The parc also features the Gille Villenueve racetrack, which hosts the annual Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix and concerts throughout the year.

  • A 65,000-seat natural ampitheatre, improved transportation services and other expansions are currently under construction until 2018
  • Easily accessbile by Metro. It is not recommended to take a car unless going to the amusement park.
