Athletic Club at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa

Our goal is to make fitness both valuable and fun for all our guests. Omni La Costa’s Athletic Club offers a wide variety of classes, state-of-the-art athletic equipment and personal trainers for our guests to use. Come join the fun at Omni La Costa and get fit.

  • Spin Studio with 19 HOIST® LeMond Series spin bikes
  • Fitness Studio for group fitness and yoga classes
  • Pilates Studio with reformers for personal training
  • TRX suspension systems
  • Outdoor workout area containing weight bench and 2 HOIST® LeMond Series spin bikes
  • An array of cardio equipment, including but not limited to treadmills, ellipticals, Concept2 rowers, stationary bikes (including two Peloton®), stairmasters and more
  • Strength equipment, including but not limited to FreeMotion® Dual Cable Cross, Smith Machine, universal cable machine, free weights, and HOIST® upper and lower body strength machines


Choose from a variety of fitness classes from body sculpting, spin classes, Zumba and much more. Or let us customize your workout with a personal trainer. Yoga, Pilates and stretch classes are also available.

This class provides low impact exercise beneficial to those with joint issues, utilizing water as resistance.

Boot Camp
A full body workout combining cardiovascular interval training with strength conditioning exercises. This class utilizes a variety of equipment to provide challenge to multiple muscle groups.

Body Sculpt
A total body workout designed to improve muscle tone as well as cardiovascular strength. Emphasis is on good form and proper movement utilizing light weights and moderate resistance.

Cross-training through various stations, using a variety of equipment and exercises to challenge muscles and increase cardiovascular strength.

HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)
A rigorous full-body workout featuring interval training with high-intensity exercises to build cardiovascular fitness while improving muscular strength and endurance.

Mat Pilates
Classic Pilates to increase core strength while sculpting long, lean muscles. Dynamic movements restore balance to all muscle groups and increase strength and flexibility.

Morning Walk
A guided 50-minute walk through the beautiful grounds of Omni La Costa Resort.

Rope Wall Yoga
Rope wall yoga is a methodology of Iyengar yoga to practice using rope suspended on a wall to modify traditional yoga poses, often used as a supportive guide. Using these ropes can help you stay in a pose longer and observe each movement in greater detail. This helps you become more aware of your body in the process—your level of strength, flexibility, and balance, and what areas need to be strengthened.

A high energy cycling class set to motivating music. A combination of endurance, climbs and interval drills are utilized to optimize cardiovascular conditioning and to develop muscle tone.

Spin & Core
All of the benefits of SPIN class with an added element of resistance and core work utilizing light weights.

Stretch & Release
A methodical class sequenced to focus on releasing tension in the body, leaving guests feeling calm and relaxed.

A total body workout utilizing the TRX suspension trainer to develop core strength and to challenge the upper and lower body.

Various styles of yoga combining physical postures and breathing techniques using movement and meditation to promote mental and physical well-being.

An energizing dance fitness class incorporating fast and slow rhythms to improve cardiovascular fitness.
