Fire away at 18 stations of tournament sporting clays on Friday, followed by 18 holes of championship golf on Saturday. The top six two-person teams in the championship flight will advance to the 2018 Golf & Sporting Clays Shoot-Out.

SCHEDULE

Thursday, August 23

  • Practice round for golf and sporting clays (available at a nominal fee)
  • Free clinic for non-shooters with David Judah, Shooting Club Manager and Level III Instructor
  • Free clinic for non-golfers with Mark Fry, Head Golf Professional at the Old Course
  • Dinner in any of our restaurants (advance reservations required)

Friday, August 24

  • First round – 18 stations of tournament sporting clays (ammunition provided)
  • Reception
  • Dinner in any of our restaurants (advance reservations required)

Saturday, August 25

  • Second round – 18 holes of tournament golf on The Cascades followed by the top six two-person teams in a shoot-playoff
  • Awards reception and dinner

 

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

Championship Division
The top six teams in this division will advance to the 2018 Golf & Sporting Clays Shoot-Out. Handicaps will not be used in the championship division.

Flight Division
The Flights will be determined by sporting clays scores and full handicaps will be used for golf. Awards will be presented in each flight.

Scoring
We will use the Stableford System for scoring the 2018 Golf & Sporting Clays tournament. Par for each hole on the course is set and par for the sporting clays stations will be set to score comparable to the golf scores. One combined score will be used to determine the winners. The scoring points awarded in relation to a fixed score at each hole or station is as follows:

  • 1 over fixed par 1
  • Fixed par 2
  • 1 under fixed par 3
  • 2 under fixed par 4
  • 2 over fixed par 4
  • 1 over fixed par 3
  • Fixed par 2
