Relive the fun of a bygone era during our Vintage Homestead Weekend. Tee it up with authentic hickory sticks on the Old Course or test your shooting skills in our vintage trap tournament. Relax and enjoy a formal afternoon tea and family etiquette luncheon. Brush up on your dance skills with a ballroom dance class. Experience the drama of a silent movie, complete with live piano accompaniment. Play a game of bridge or don your whites for a traditional croquet tournament. Sip classic cocktails, then savor dinner in the Dining Room featuring tableside service as the Kool Kats play music for dancing. And don’t forget your plus fours, tweed jackets, breeks and other vintage attire; prizes for best dressed will be awarded during brunch on Sunday.

AFTERNOON TEA R | $ Delight in a classic afternoon tea experience in the Dining Room. Enjoy selection of savory tea sandwiches, scones and sweets while sipping on tea or sparkling wine while a pianist plays melodies on the grand piano. $55 adults and $25 children

BALLROOM DANCE CLASSES Join former amateur dance competitors Robin and John Hall for ballroom dancing lessons. The Halls have more than 30 years’ of experience and will teach you some new steps to show off at dinner in the Dining Room!

CLASSIC COCKTAILS $ Enjoy a classic cocktail before dinner and socialize with other guests in the Lobby Bar and Great Hall. Each night will feature a different classic cocktail and accompanying recipe card for you to craft again at home.

DINNER AND DANCING R | $ Dinner and dancing in the Dining Room has been a Homestead tradition for generations. Our culinary team has planned three exquisite meals featuring tableside service and favorites such as Chilean Sea Bass, Truffle Scented Pheasant, Chateaubriand and Homestead Trout Almondine. Throughout the evening, the Kool Kats will perform music for dancing.

MOVIES AND SILENT FILMS IN THE THEATER
As a special treat, take in a silent film with live musical accompaniment from Matthew Marshall, an accomplished film lecturer, screenwriter and composer. Or, watch a classic film such as Casablanca, Breakfast at Tiffany’s or My Fair Lady in our historic theater.

Enjoy a traditional Sunday brunch in the Dining Room featuring a decadent selection of bakery items and sweets and an array of classic breakfast selections along with berries and salads, shrimp, house-cured salmon, smoked trout, prime rib of beef, and chef-prepared omelets and eggs. $65 adults and $35 children

ARCHERY LECTURE AND DEMONSTRATION R Longtime archer and bow maker Jim Clippard will share his knowledge on the sport of archery and bow making. Jim is a traditional shooter and competes in the barebow division at tournaments.

HICKORY STICKS GOLF TOURNAMENT R | $
Play with authentic hickory sticks and gutta perch balls in our vintage 9-hole tournament on the Old Course. Tee times are available Thursday-Saturday from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Players are encouraged to dress in vintage golf attire such as plus fours (knickers) and tams and those who do may receive up to a two-stroke deduction on their score! Scores will be tallied and prizes awarded at brunch on Sunday. $100 per person, caddie available on request for an additional fee of $50. Tournament fee includes hickory stick rental and balls.

FLY FISHING LECTURE AND CASTING CLINIC R | $
Learn about the history of fly fishing at The Homestead and the development of rod technology through the years. After the lecture, you will learn the basic skills of fly casting with your guide. $50 per person

VINTAGE SHOOT R | $ Put your shooting skills to the test in our vintage trap and skeet shoot with over-under or side by side shotguns. Register for a time Thursday, Friday or Saturday. Prizes will be awarded for each game in a Ladies’ and Men’s division. Come dressed in your best vintage shooting attire and receive two additional shots. Winners will be announced at brunch on Sunday. $100 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Ammo additional.

WATERFALL WELLNESS WALK R | $
Start your day with a brisk fitness walk along the Cascades Stream for an exhilarating and refreshing twist on your morning fitness routine. Set your own pace as you enjoy a picturesque 1.8-mile walk that crosses 12 different waterfalls. $20 adults, $9 children
