Featured Winemaker of the Month

This June, meet Caitlin Horton, Virginia’s youngest winemaker, who grew up at Horton Vineyards, founded by her grandparents Dennis and Sharon Horton. Known for its acclaimed Viognier and pioneering Port wines, Horton Vineyards has long been a leader in Virginia’s wine industry. Now, Caitlin is taking the winery into a new chapter, blending tradition with innovation. While honoring her grandfather’s legacy, she’s creating her own with experimental wines like the steampunk-inspired Gears & Lace line. Caitlin is excited to continue Horton’s tradition of excellence and explore new horizons for Virginia wine.
